Girls and women (15-29 years) from mainland and coastal Greece Tripoli, Crete, Thessaloniki, Kavala, Florina were informed about the employment prospects offered by sea but most importantly identified themselves with new roles related to their studies.
The Blue Economy event was organized by BlueGenerationProject team (Militos Consulting S.A) in collaboration with the University of the Aegean in the context of the distance education YOUTHShare project.
Both projects are funded by EEA and Norway Grants Fund for Youth Employment and aim at reducing youth unemployment by advancing young NEETs skills in resilient sectors such as the Blue economy.
